As a member of the Library Development Team in Central Engineering Automation , you will be responsible for maintaining and developing standard cell IP used worldwide. You will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with APR, Modeling, Design and Layout engineers across several design sites.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited, To The Following
Develop and release custom and standard cells from simple nand gates to flops, muxes and more complex circuits
Collaborate with design and process teams to optimize cells for area, performance and power
Characterize standard cells for timing, power and noise
Verify and release collateral to worldwide project teams within our organization
Provide highest level of support to project teams who use the collateral we release
Scripting to enhance automation of development and verification flows
Run digital design and APR tool evaluations
Successful Candidates For This Position Will Have
A BSEE/CE (MS is a plus).
In-depth understanding of Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) schematics and CMOS layout
Working knowledge of library design, including cell architecture and simulation
Experience in transistor-level circuit design.
Familiarity with a scripting language like PYTHON, PERL, SKIL, etc.
Excellent communications skills
Working knowledge of Silicon Smart or Innovus is a plus.
