Minimally Invasive and GI Surgeon Job Vacancy In Milwaukee, WI, USA
The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Department of Surgery is currently seeking a MIS Fellowship trained surgeon to join the Division of Minimally Invasive and Gastrointestinal Surgery (MIGS). The clinical practice associated with this position will be based primarily at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, the Academic Medical Center for Froedtert Health System and MCW. Advanced hernia, robotics, endoscopy and endoscopic surgery, and bariatric surgery are specific areas of clinical need. The ideal candidate will have training and an interest in practicing in one or more of these areas. Future growth in the division and health system may eventually lead to a portion of this surgeon’s clinical practice being based at one of our health system’s affiliate hospitals. Applicants with a strong interest in the training of surgical residents and our Fellowship Council Accredited MIS Fellowship are desired. The Division of Minimally Invasive and Gastrointestinal Surgery currently includes 6 faculty members and has dedicated APP support, administrative support staff, and research support staff.
Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and must be certified by the American Board of Surgery or eligible for such certification. Academic rank and compensation are dependent on qualifications and experience.
