Sr. Firm Experience Coordinator Job Vacancy In Philadelphia, PA, USA
The Sr. Firm Experience Coordinator position will report to the Proposal Project Manager as a member of the Client Development Solutions team within Marketing. This role is open to candidates in Philadelphia, Boston, New York, D.C. and Charlotte.
This employee will work with Partners and Associates, Marketing, Practice Group Management and others to write, edit and maintain accurate descriptions of the firm’s matters in its experience system for multiple uses across the firm.
The employee will also support the development of processes for better and more consistent data gathering and maintenance; work with firm-wide teams on better reporting involving our experience data; and advise on technology improvements to meet those ends.
PERSONAL CONTACTS:
The Sr. Firm Experience Coordinator must be able to interact at all levels of the Firm, particularly all positions within the Marketing team, as well as Partners and Associates.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Develop descriptions of matters across all Dechert’s practice groups, covering a wide breadth of industries, geographies and transaction types, ensuring appropriateness for multiple uses and alignment with the strategic goals of both the relevant practice group(s) and the firm.
· Work with lawyers and Client Development managers to accurately capture and maintain comprehensive matter details in the firm’s experience system.
· Prepare relevant experience for inclusion in quarterly league tables, attorney profiles, legal directory and award submissions, and firm-wide pitches and proposals.
· Make recommendations for additional uses of experience in internal and external marketing channels.
· Contribute to updates of resource materials (such as guides and FAQs) outlining best practices for capturing experience.
· Work with Marketing Technology team in improving data quality, making recommendations on what content to capture and how to do so.
· Identify trends in experience data to assist Marketing group in forming client development targets and making recommendations for other firm-wide business strategies.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
College degree required.
Experience of working in a law firm, finance or professional services environment is beneficial but not critical.
Strong writing skills, particularly the ability to summarize legal work, are required.
Excellent proofreading skills.
General understanding of legal matters and how they work is a plus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal.
Strong technical skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel, are required.
Ability to learn new software and operating systems.
Prior data entry and/or management of an experience/firm intelligence system preferred.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective work relationships with internal and external clients.
Ability to prioritize workload and complete tasks under time pressure when necessary.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
