The Division of Otolaryngology at Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join our well-established practice. Interest in pediatric head and neck, including thyroid and/or complex pediatric airway is a bonus. The group currently consists of 5 pediatric otolaryngologists. We have academic affiliations with Mayo Clinic – Jacksonville and University of South Florida and we have resident rotations which provide teaching opportunities for the faculty.
We are located in a coastal beach city with fantastic outdoor activities, professional sports teams, and top ranked schools. Nemours – Jacksonville has a long standing affiliation with Wolfson Children’s Hospital and our clinic and ambulatory space is directly connected via skybridge to the hospital and operating rooms. The clinical side of the group runs in a private practice style with academic opportunities. We have an excellent clinical trials team, and research opportunities abound as data and trials can span all 4 major sites within the integrated Nemours organization.
Position requirements include completion of a certified fellowship program in Pediatric Otolaryngology, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology, and eligibility for unrestricted Florida medical license.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic pediatric otolaryngologist with a passion for patient- and family-centered care and an interest in expanding an already busy complex pediatric airway practice. This position offers the opportunity to work with other subspecialists in a multi-specialty collaborative fashion.
